We tend to see ourselves as individuals with one personality. However through the Transforming Dialogue process we discover a myriad of ‘selves’ each with its own voice, perspective, thoughts, desires, and set of rules for living.
These ‘selves’ form part of our consciousness and have a huge influence on the choices we make through life.
Transforming Dialogue (or Voice Dialogue as it may be known) was developed in the 1980’s by Clinical Psychologists Drs Hal and Sidra Stone in the USA. They started by exploring the different voices in each other as a way of finding clarity around difficulties in their own relationship.
Transforming Dialogue is a journey of self discovery as you meet and get to know the different inner voices, some which have never had a chance to be seen or heard before.
Becoming more self aware in this way creates a gradual process of unfolding, incorporating our true nature, touching on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Katy is at present in advanced training in Transforming Dialogue with Trilby Fairfax and Peter Dellenson in Martinstown, Dorchester.
She would like to offer 20 to 30 minute sessions. These can also be part of a Shiatsu or Acupressure treatment if requested. There is no fee, but a donation would be appreciated.
